The schema posted below is the result of months of work by the BASIRA Project team. In the upcoming re-release of the database, each Work of Art will be treated as a composite of three sub-sections: a Physical Component, a Visual Context, and a Document. This structure will enable tagging specific regions within an image in accord with a specific context. We welcome input and responses to this organization.
